Who we are
‘The Bath Hotel’ has proudly been a part of Morecambe’s seafront for over a century. Nestled just off the promenade with views of the bay, this iconic building has welcomed locals and visitors alike since the early 20th century.
Originally established as traditional accommodation for visitors seeking a coastal retreat, The Bath quickly became a favourite for holidaymakers drawn to Morecambe’s golden sands, fresh sea air, and famous sunsets.
Throughout the years, The Bath has seen Morecambe through decades of change – from the town’s heyday as a bustling Victorian seaside resort, to the quieter years, and now into a period of revival and renewed interest in our vibrant coastal heritage.

Inside, you’ll find a carefully restored bar known as ‘The Bath Tap’ – that blends classic pub charm, original brick features with a modern craft bar touch. If you look carefully, you may also notice the original sign that was restored and hung to showcase the rich history of The Bath. We serve a well-curated selection of beers, wines and spirits, with an emphasis on local suppliers and craft brewers. We are proud to say that over 70% of the beers we stock are brewed and produced locally.
Upstairs, are 11 individually designed hotel rooms that offer a comfortable and stylish place to stay, each with a nod to Art Deco design – a tribute to Morecambe’s elegant architectural past. Whether you’re in town for a short break, a business trip, or just a spontaneous getaway, The Bath Rooms provides a memorable base with character, charm and comfortability.
We’re also proud to be the host of Morecambe Bay Chowder, a unique local culinary partnership that brings together the flavours of the bay. Served hot and hearty from the kitchen, it’s a must-try dish that celebrates the area’s fishing heritage with a modern twist.
